So for harriet_vane's birthday, I recorded myself reading one of my favorites of her fics, The Second Law of Panic at the Disco. (Let's be honest, I love them all, but this one is something approaching short.)



Apologies to all and sundry for my bad British accent and nonexistent Homer Simpson impersonation.

Wow, I have to say this was probably the best audiofic I've ever heard. The way you made the voices sound different was incredible and I could see the expressions in mind. I think you should do more audiofics because you rock at it!

So, I was pretty hesitant about this at first, because the background noise is kinda loud and unpleasant, but I stuck with it because I was *really* in the mood for podfic by this author, and because of your hilarious Ryan voice, and your sweet and amused narration, the way the reading shows such love and delight over the story and all the characters.

And now whenever I am choosing something to relisten to, I keep finding myself going back to it. I think I'm on my third time through right now, and not even remotely feeling done with it. So I wanted to leave you a note and let you know that I love this and it's awesome. And if you did another recording one day, I would happily listen to that as well. And if you don't, well, I'm still very glad for this one.

Oh yeah, no, I totally understand that recording quality is not a thing that people really have control over. I really meant it as a compliment to your reading, that it was good enough to overcome that unavoidable mechanical setback.
