:: 1—The Con-going Fangirl :: 2—Filk :: 3—Fanreports :: 4—The Everyday Fangirl :: 5—Fic :: 6—The Fangirl Online :: 7—Rose-Colored Interviews :: 8—The Fangirl On-Set ::Epilogue: The Kripked Fangirl::

EPILOGUE: The Kripked Fangirl

"Jared, please don't--"

"You lost the bet," Jared points out, patting him on the ass. "Besides, we owe them a lot. You owe them a lot."

Jensen groans and makes a face at himself in the mirror, where he's trying to make his hair behave itself for the panel. Damn Jared and his fucking big hands, making him come in less than three minutes. That's just pathetic. He probably deserves public humiliation.

Just not this particular public humiliation. "Modest, aren't we?"

Jared laughs. "You love me and you know it."

"I do," Jensen admits grudgingly. "I'm just not sure I love you this much."

"Jensen. These are my friends. They're the reason I pulled my head out of my ass. I wanna give them this."

Jensen sighs. "I can shove you off, right?"

Jared grins. "Damn straight."

"Fiiine."

*~*~*

"Yeah, I love you too, bitch," Jared says, and reaches over to pull at Jensen's head, giving him a smack on the lips that echoes through the mikes.

The room goes absolutely silent and still, except for a few small, desperate whimpers.

"Get off me, asshole," Jensen grumbles, shoving him off and grinning like it's all a big joke. Eric grins, too, and makes some sorta comment about a big happy family, and the panel keeps going.

It isn't till the panel's over and the fangirls start to get outside the room that the screaming begins.

Jensen's pretty sure the lobby is still echoing when they leave two days later.

I heart this idea and execution so. very. much. I'm not a huge Supernatural fan, nor a RPS fan, but I'm so incredibly glad I was rec'd this. Because I know these fans, if not in this fandom, and I know these people and their jokes and their geeky passion, and it was fabulous.

congratulations, your story cured me from my aversion towards the RPS part of Supernatural fandom :) *bounces* Is this the moment to bring the line with "I sold my soul to the devil..." ? *grins*

I'm about to ramble so I'll ask for your forgiveness and patience in advance.

Once upon a time there was a girl who worked with her hands (and no, not in the kinky way ;D). Just before she went to work she clicked on a Supernatural recced fic link called "Common Knowledge". She was able to read the first four chapters before the thought of bills and food forced gently reminded her to report to her job. However, as the girl installed toilets, painted hallways, rewired ethernet boxes and generally repaired broken utilities, she found herself working faster than usual when she thought about the wonderful fic awaiting her at home. To the girl's delight she finished her work faster than usual and after waving her goodbyes to her coworkers, she jogged calmly walked back home and finished reading the fic. She sat in front of her computer for a good two minutes horribly delighted and squeeing much to amusement of her roommates.

She thought about the marvelous characterisation of Jared and Jensen, feeling that the fic was told through an innovative style that she'd never read before. The fic felt so in depth and connected to the Supernatural J2 fandom, one that she herself was new to, that the portrayal of the OC fangirls made her wonder if one day she too would fall prey to such behavior. Nevertheless it was so wonderfully constructed that she fell in love with their conceptuals forms and mannerisms.

However the influence of J2 fandom producing J2 overwhelmed her and she found herself very impressed with how logical the romance was developed between Jared and Jensen. Broken down and subltly moving forward, the actual plot was very enjoyable however when she thought about the smex her face flushed and her heart pounded like crazy. The day's exhaustion, the heart attack J2 fiction, it was all too much for the girl and she died peacefully.

The End

Lmao, I thoroughly enjoyed this story so I hope you laugh at mine! :D

Oh Gods. THis was perhaps one of the funniest things I've ever read. I sat here with my hands over my mouth, making very undignified squeaking noises through my fingers. I think I scared my cats. I also think I love you.
adelate: Min Yoongi with his eyes closed on an orangey yellow background about to take a sip out of a yellow Teema coffee mug (Jared/Jensen - I got you babe)

HEE. I got here through the podfic, and I was just having the time of my life listening to this. I kept going, "I've read that fic! And that one!" At the risk of sounding like a total tinhat, in addition to all the fantastic J2-ness it was also sort of like a love letter to fandom, and I love that. :D

This is the best RPS fic ever, hands down. This fic is an entire inside joke about the craziness of our fandom, and I love it. The thought of Jared posting on LJ...
I love the drunk!Jared scene, because I know the fics mentioned there. Well, except for one. Which fic does the "nobody to my shadow" line reference?

Did you ever write more fics? *goes to look for fics*

I am VERY late to the party but really wanted to make sure I tell you how awesome your fic is. I only discovered it in podbook form (I'm fairly new to fandom) and it is just too perfect!
Typically I throw a fic on my iPod, listen to it, delete it. But Common Knowledge? I've played like 20 times because it is so good it never gets old.

This is awesome. It is beautiful, has so much analysis of their emotions, flows seamlessly, and is such a pleasure to read. And it feels totally feasible. I am hoping eventually this is what would happen to J2 in real life :) :).

I came here from the recs: http://mystic-spn-recs.livejournal.com/13407.html

Thanks for writing this and sharing.
